VESTA Awarded Public Purchasing Contract through HGACBuy
BIRMINGHAM, Mich., Oct. 05, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — VESTA Modular today announced it has been awarded the Houston Galveston Area Council’s (“H-GAC’s”) New/Leased Modular Buildings & Shelters contract. As an awardee under the HGACBuy Program, VESTA will sell and lease modular buildings to government agencies nationwide that participate in the H-GAC cooperative purchasing program.
As a unit of local government, HGACBuy is able to make the governmental procurement process more efficient by establishing competitively priced contracts for goods and services, and providing the customer service necessary to help members achieve their procurement goals. H-GAC’s award was made by virtue of a public competitive procurement process compliant with state statutes. As a result, participants in the H-GAC program now will have a streamlined avenue to procure competitively bid goods and services from VESTA.
“We are dedicated to continuing our expansion into the public and government sectors and believe the H-GAC Contract is a pivotal step towards that goal,” said Dan McMurtrie, CEO of VESTA. “Our entire focus at VESTA is making the process simpler and easier for our customers, and the H-GAC does precisely that for our public and government projects.”
