VESTA Modular | Give Back
When it comes to community, VESTA has committed to helping and being part of their local communities, to”Give-Back”! Throughout the country our offices have chosen to donate to causes and organizations that were near and dear to them. Below are the organizations that some of our employees and offices have chosen!
Soldiers’ Angels Adopt-A-Family
Christine Hordeman and Deana Harb chose a charity near and dear to them, a Marine family for the holidays via Soldiers’ Angels with a little girl age 6 and a little boy age 2. They were able to purchase everything on their wish list as well as a gift certificate for the family to purchase a nice holiday dinner.
The Soldiers’ Angels Holiday Adopt-A-Family program helps businesses, organizations, and individuals support qualified military and veteran families that could use some help providing a holiday celebration for their families. The minimum requirement to adopt a family is to provide gifts for the children and a grocery gift card to help them purchase their holiday dinner and trimmings.
Kendall County Community Food Pantry
Our Oswego, IL office; Pat Carmody, Nicole Barnes and Susan Kinsella chose Kendall County Community Food Pantry for their “give back” donation. They were able to provide donations of food, paper goods, cleaning supplies, and first aid products.

Fostering Together Gulf Coast
VESTA’s Emily McGough and her son Will, had a great time spreading holiday cheer by shopping for a 5 year old girl in foster care. They delivered their car full of presents to Fostering Together Gulf Coast in Mobile, AL.
Fostering Together Gulf Coast is a nonprofit that began in 2019 with the goal of providing support to foster and adoptive families in Mobile and Baldwin counties. They promote healthy foster and adoptive families by providing easy access to resources that help build strong, resilient children who thrive within healthy families and break the cycle of abuse, neglect, and trauma. They also provide an outlet for the local community to come alongside these children and families in support.
Fostering Together Gulf Coast is led by a board of directors who care deeply about foster care and adoption. Their board is made up of foster and adoptive parents, social workers, and pastoral staff, among others. Their website states: “We understand the joys and challenges of parenting children who have experienced trauma. We are committed to walking alongside these families in order to help lighten their load and build a supportive community around them.”
Maryville/Alcoa Animal Rescue Center
LSF is an organization dedicated to serving those most vulnerable members of their communities by providing life-changing human services to all people regardless of age, background, or belief system.
Their website states: “We are dedicated to serving children and families, youth and teens, adults and elderly, refugees and immigrants through various programs ranging from substance abuse and mental health to education.”
Birchview Gardens Assisted Living, Inc.
Jim Qualley and his wife, took the VESTA giving and matched with their own contribution to purchase personal items for each resident at Birchview Gardens Assisted Living, Inc. in MN. Many of the residents don’t have visitors during the Holiday Season and because of strict diet restrictions for many, candy and food could not be brought in. With a total of 40 residents at this facility, Jim and his wife assembled 40 gift bags and brought them to the facility so that they would have them in time for their Christmas. The gift bags included; personal items such as soaps, shampoos, toothbrush & toothpaste, lotions, etc.
Hackensack’s first assisted living facility was constructed with the comfort and safety of their residents in mind. Birchview Gardens is conveniently located only one block east of highway 371 behind the First National Bank of Walker in Hackensack, MN. Birchview Gardens was named after the beautiful Birch Lake, which is only blocks away and within walking distance, and the beautiful gardens and walking track which surrounds the building. A bank, post office, grocery store, and several restaurants are all within walking distance of Birchview Gardens.
Birchview Gardens offers a wide variety of senior apartment sizes including apartments 1,000 square feet and larger! All senior apartments are wheelchair accessible and all have private kitchens and bathrooms that are also wheelchair accessible.
Birchview Gardens also has partnered with Essentia Health and provided space for their medical clinic within the same building as the assisted living facility for the convenience of their residents. There are also several churches nearby and one church rests adjacent to our property for your convenience.
